Meee Waaannnt WAAAKFUUUUU...

Okay, if ye wanna know what im talking about, listen up

Wakfu is the sequel(of sorts) to Dofus(it takes place 1000 years AFTER Dofus, but in the same universe/planet) In this latest installment, Ankama has done something i've NEVER heard of before. They made an ecosystem. Not just an ecosystem you might see in WoW, or any other MMORPG, this one is almost real. Take, for example, farming. Lets say, in WoW, you go and harvest some herbs. Now, in a few hours/minutes/whatever, those herbs will respawn, right? Well, in Wakfu, if you cut down a tree, or harvest a crop, they will NOT grow back, UNLESS... you replant them. And guess what... if you don't, the animals in that region will starve and migrate to a different region. Yes, the animals eat, and migrate, and they even breed amongst themselves, and possibly hunt each other. So if a gang of thugs in the game suddenly decides they don't like this type of monster, they can attempt to eradicate it. Luckily, there are going to be some player countermeasures to this. The first and foremost being, one of the 12(current, maybe more in the future) can capture wild animals, so it may be possible for one of them to capture a male and female of the species, then raise it in a hidden place, then releasing the babies back into the wild. The second countermeasure is the governor. In Wakfu, there is a political system, where you get to vote one player into office as governor, and as governor, s/he can limit hunting on one particular species. The third countermeasure, are good citizens of Wakfu. In Wakfu, you can jump into a fight to defend a monster from attackers(Imagine, a group of 8 13-year olds teaming up on one little sheep, and then you step in the way, and defeat them all, thus saving the sheep from dieing.) ME WANT WAKFU ;-; the Closed Beta should be coming around in the next month or so, with the Open Beta(YAY) a few months later. So.... yeah.... Me want wakfu?
